“I’ll see you in court” – 25th September 2019

Afraid that the the blog entries are going to be a little bit shorter for a while as I prepare to move house – don’t worry though, I’ll still be adding links, videos and recipes so that you can get involved at home.

While we reach the final instalment of the current Crown Court story, “Gingerbread Girl”, which isn’t available on Youtube, you might like to watch instead this three-parter from 1978.

Another banned programme next, no less – we’ve spoken before about the advertising boycott that hit the third season of Married With Children, but this episode was, incredibly, only screened in 2002, five years after the whole series had come to an end and thirteen since the episode was made.

In this famous ‘lost episode’, Al and Peg learn they have been video taped getting intimate at a sleazy motel. The same thing has also happened to Steve and Marcy. They decide to take the matter to court.

And we reach episode 4 of the ‘banned’ sitcom Hardwicke House, which is starting to grow on us!

Food tonight: barbeque sausages in mini baguettes with fried onions and Polish mustard, with chakalaka flavour crisps and chorizo lollipops. Makes a change from beans on toast…
